New ‘7 Million’ Ad Will Air Across All Markets in Florida

With over 7 million people infected in the U.S., including Donald Trump and many exposed to him, Mike Bloomberg’s Independence USA PAC is airing a new ad - “7 million” - showing Floridians how their health care will be impacted during this global pandemic if Donald Trump is re-elected. The TV ad will run statewide on broadcast and cable. 

The COVID-19 pandemic, and Donald Trump’s mishandling of it, has already caused 7 million Americans to be infected and over 211,000 American deaths. This new ad outlines the gruesome reality of health care in Florida with four more years of Trump.

“If Trump gets his way over eight million Floridians with pre-existing conditions, like cancer and diabetes, could lose their healthcare. People over 50 could face an Age Tax -- forced to pay more for care,” the ad says. “Losing our health care during a pandemic...haven’t we lost enough?”

“If Donald Trump hated Mike Bloomberg’s last ad, he’ll really hate this one,” said Manny Diaz, former Mayor of Miami. 

This is part of Mike Bloomberg’s commitment to spend $100 million in Florida to support Vice President Joe Biden in defeating Donald Trump through Independence USA as well as with other Democratic groups. Independence USA PAC’s ads will run daily statewide through Election Day across all ten Florida media markets and are geared towards both persuasion and mobilization in support of Vice President Joe Biden in defeating Donald Trump.
